Hey there! I am Sonya Roland, Director of Admissions for Heritage Academy and the Early Learning Academy. I have been a part of the Heritage family since 2003, on staff but also as a mother. My husband and I have three children who graduated from Heritage. This school has and continues to engrave an indelible mark on our lives. I look forward to working with you and your family, in hopes you may experience a similar encounter.

Greetings, Families! I am Mrs. Shermayne Powell, the Admissions/Scholarship Processor. Since 2018, I have had the privilege of being a part of the Heritage community as a devout parent, and was honored to serve as a K3 educator at our early learning academy since 2021, with a deep commitment to early childhood development rooted in faith and academic excellence.

My husband and I are the proud parents of four. Three of which are currently enrolled at Heritage Academy, where they continue to flourish both spiritually and academically.

This new role allows me the honor of welcoming prospective families and guiding them into the vibrant, Christ-centered community that has so greatly enriched our lives. I look forward to partnering with you as you begin, and/ or continue your journey here at Heritage Academy.

We will work alongside you to apply for the best scholarship for your family!

To be considered for a scholarship, apply for financial aid with Heritage Academy through TADS and upload supporting documents. This application is available from January through April.

All new families must also apply for the Georgia Promise Scholarship. There is no fee to apply. Click Here to visit the Georgia Promise webpage.

Once the admissions application process is completed, your child may be invited for a Shadow and Testing Day in the spring. Students are evaluated to ensure they are placed in the grade level that will best set them up for success.

While you are here, we will use this time for your Parent Interview. This is a time to get to know your family and for you to get to know us.

The Red Carpet is our signature, first day of school event. Civil servants, business owners, pastors, and many other men from all over town line the red carpet to welcome our Warriors and wish them well as they enter the new school year.
