Under a Georgia law (HB1133) passed in 2008, you can receive a tax credit of up to $1,000 per year for individuals or $2,500 for couples filing jointly for contributions to a qualified student scholarship organization. This is an opportunity for you to redirect your own tax dollars to help children currently enrolled in public schools attend a private school such as Heritage Academy.
